The
inspiration for the Lempicka wall masks comes from the machine age
style of design and the exciting, bold and often daring paintings
of the famous Art Deco Artist, Tamara de Lempicka. During the 1920's
and 30's Tamara de Lempicka painted many wonderful portraits using
a distinctively unique combination of strong colours and soft Cubist
lines, epitomizing the cool modernism and bold style of Art Deco. |
