The
inspiration for this distinctive set of 6 drinks coasters comes
from a later branch of Art Deco style called Streamline Moderne.
This style emphasized curving forms, long horizontal lines, and
sometimes-nautical elements. Streamline Moderne was frequently incorporated
into the Architecture of the 1930's in many notable buildings across
England, Europe and America and also gave its name to the classic
design of the Streamliner trains. |
